Well, it sure was quiet around here on Thanksgiving break… it’s just too short a holiday for me to fly back home for a few days, so I stayed here at the dorms all by myself… which wasn’t too bad since I decided to continue with my latest obsession and write the guide and hints for the game Weird Park: Broken Tune! If you didn’t catch my review… you need to. This game is really awesome and spectacularly creepy… even for me!
Anyhow, here’s a quick recap. You play an investigator hired to look into the strange happenings at the local amusement park and try to find out what happened to a local journalist who was doing a story on the park and then disappeared. Right from the start, you know something is up… since the gate is a huge clown mouth that blinks at you… uggggg creepy!!!! I hate clowns!! Is there anything creepier than a clown?
You need to solve the clues to move forward in the game and discover the park’s evil secrets, all the time looking out for some strange little joker creature that tries to stop you by moving things and breaking things on you!
Even though I really should have been using this free time to work on a few papers and catch up on my school work, I couldn’t tear myself away from the game… but it was a holiday! Who wants to work on papers when everyone else is eating yummy turkey and stuffing… gorging myself on creepy fantasy games seemed the only solution for me!
