Opening Story:

In Shadows: Price for Our Sins, Dylan is attending a party at the old abandoned Stone Farm one Halloween night. She steps out to take a call from her mother, when her friends unwittingly release the souls of the Stone family who had been held captive by the Lord of Darkness Samhain. Enraged by his loss, he strikes back and takes the souls of Dylan's friends! Now Dylan must find a way to earn the trust of the escaped spirits and, with their help, save her friends. General Tips for Shadows: Price for Our Sins

Difficulty - Two modes: Casual and Expert. In Casual Mode, sparkles indicate active areas and the hint button takes 30 seconds to load. In Expert Mode, there are no sparkle indicators and the hint button takes 60 seconds to load.

Magnifying Glass - When your cursor turns into a magnifying glass, it means you can zoom in and take a closer look on an area.

Hand - When your cursor turns into a hand, it means you can pick the object up and add it to your inventory, or interact with an object in some way.

Inventory -  Your inventory can be found at the bottom of the screen. Just hover your mouse over it to bring it up.

Hints -  The hint button is found in the lower right hand corner of your screen. Click here if you're stuck. Just remember, the button takes time to charge before you can use it again.

Diary - Your diary is found in the lower right hand corner of your screen. Notes and observations that you make throughout the game can be found here.

Menu -  The menu button is located at the bottom left portion of your screen.

Navigation Cursor - When you cursor turns into an arrow, it means you go move in that direction.

Map - Your map is located in the lower left hand corner, once you get it. Click on it to see locations with objectives or to fast travel to another area.

Skip -  During mini-games, if you are having trouble or maybe you just don't feel like solving it, you can click on the skip button.

Hidden Object Scenes -  Hidden object scenes will be indicated by sparkles. Objects listed in red require an extra step in order to find it.
