The New Yankee in King Arthur's Court Walkthrough provides specific instructions and videos for gold level times.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The timer starts after the dialogue is cleared out. So wait for food to come in before clearing the diaglogue.

You can queue up as many jobs as you would like as long as you have the resources necessary. You need to be careful not to get yourself too far ahead.

Great trick to save resources when building:  As your workers are working on other things, queue up all the building ahead of time.  The resources don't get taken away when you put a building in the queue but you are allowed to build more buildings for the same amount of resources.  For example, if you have enough wood to build one house send all workers on collecting missions (food, gold, mana, wood), then you can click on both houses and build for the cost of just one house.

Spells:  I like to collect enough mana for the next spell and then move on to other business, then use the spell, and collect for the next spell.

Some buildings require multiple workers with lots of resources.  Just click on the building until the add worker sign goes away.  Note that you can see how many more resources you need to finish up

7. Collect gold and food to collect gold goal

Level 7

2. Collect 3 food
3. While collecting the food, click on the 2 house lots 
4. Clear block up to 2 mana bottles and chop 2 more trees
5. Keep collecting food throughout
6. Build bridge at the bottom right
7. Pick up the mana bottles as available
8. Chop the last 2 trees
9. Use the spell as available
10. Clear the block up to the bottom right gold bag
11. Build the last bridge
12. Pick up everything
13. Upgrade both houses at the same time

Level 8

10. Use Freeze spell, and then collect 80 mana again (Do this throughout the level)
11. Clear rock to the left
12. Chop 2 more trees
13. Upgrade house
14. Remove the rocks blocking the worker to the right

Level 10

1. Collect 2 food
2. Clear blockage to right
3. Collect mana once
4. Chop one tree
5. Use acceleration spell
6. Collect food and gold
7. Build the windmill and 2 houses at the same time to save wood
8. Keep collecting mana to use acceleration spell
9. Fight off the miner
10. Clear up to the mine
11. Collect 200 gold to rescue the nobleman.

Level 11

1. Collect food
2. Clear obstacle to house lot
3. Collect mana
4. Build  2 houses at the same time; just make sure all your workers are busy when doing so.  
5. Clear wood obstacle to gold
6. Collect 60 gold
7. Clear rock obstacle on bottom
8. Use Fast Harvesting spell
9. Collect food and gold to get the wood deal
10. Build bridge
11. Collect both wood piles and all trees but one

Level 12

1. Collect 3 food
2. Clear left obstacle and chop tree
3. Collect the 3 trees now available
4. Collect food  
5. Build bridge and 2 houses all at the same time
6. Use Tree spell and chop all trees down
7. Collect enough gold to upgrade both houses and clear the stone
8. Clear the stone to the wells and collect mana
9. Use the tree spell
10. Clear the stones to the tree and mana after the meteors to finish up
11. Don't worry about building the bridge to the bottom right

Level 13

1. Note:  On this level the line of tree is protecting you 
2. Collect food
3. Collect mana x 2
4. Chop down all 6 trees 
5. Fight off bad guys
6. While still chopping down trees, click on windmill and 2 house sites
7. Use the tree spell as soon as trees are chopped
8. Collect food
9. Collect 80 mana
10. Collect 60 gold
11. Chop down all trees
12. While doing so, upgrade both houses and build bridge
13. Use green peace
14. Collect 100 gold
15. Remove 2 stone obstacles
16. Build last bridge to rescue worker
17. Collect food

Level 14

1. Collect food
2. Chop 4 trees
3. Build house and bridge to the north at the same time
4. Collect mana
5. Build windmill and bottom bridge
6. Build foundry
7. Clear to wells and speed bonus
8. Upgrade the house
9. Use the acceleration bonus

11. Break through rock to the last building site
12. Build house and then upgrade
13. Break through rocks to the last worker

Level 15

1. Collect 2 gold (only need 100 for the level)
2. Collect 3 food 
3. Clear stone to worker and tower site
4. Collect 2 mana
5. Collect more gold and wood
6. Build tower
7. Build house and upgrade
8. Use tree spell 
9. Send 3 workers to tower
10. Keep collecting food and wood and using tree spell

Level 16

2. Clear wood obstacle at bottom of the screen

5. Click on stone obstacles to the north and bottom left while collection food

6. Build 3 bridges while chopping wood

Level 27

1. Collect food
2. Chop trees
3. Click on both wood blockages while chopping
4. Build windmill and 2 houses
5. Fight off the bad guys
6. Collect gold
7. Clear right stone pile blocking the wells
8. Collect mana and use the freeze spell when you have more than one bad guy
9. Collect gold
10. Clear the last stone pile
11. Be sure to scare off the bad guy when you do use the freeze spell

Level 28

1. Chop down 5 trees
2. Collect mana
3. Click on all 4 bridges and house while workers are collecting
4. collect 3 gold and chop down the rest of the trees
5. Collect more mana and gold
6. Upgrade house
7. Clear stone blockages to worker
8. You will get a deal for 200 wood for 500 gold
9. Use tree spell and chop down the wood
10. Clear the stone blockages

Level 29

1. Chop down 2 trees
2. Collect mana
3. Build house
4. Collect food
5. Use speed bonus after the bad guys walk past well
6. Collect gold and wood 
7. Upgrade house
8. Keep collecting mana for spell and collect the resources needed while not getting caught by the bad guys

Level 30

1. Chop 2 trees
2. Collect food
3. Build house
4. Clear wood block to tree spell
5. Chop the rest of the trees
6. Collect mana
7. Build bottom bridge
8. Use tree spell
9. Collect gold
10. Clear stone block to windmill
11. Upgrade house
12. Chop down trees
13. Build last bridge
14. Clear stones to last worker and clear to the mine
15. Collect gold 
16. Use tree spell again 
17. Collect 200 wood for 300 gold 
18. Keep collecting gold too; need a total of 500
19. Finish off

Level 31

1. Chop 2 trees and collect food
2. Collect 3 gold
3. Build towers and house all at once
4. Collect mana and use tree spell
5. Chop the trees
6. Upgrade the towers
7. Collect 150 food for a 100 wood award
8. Upgrade house
9. Send 3 workers to the tower
10. Use the food acceleration spell
11. Collect 150 gold for another 1200 wood
    

Level 32

1. Chop 4 trees
2. Build 2 houses
3. Collect mana and chop last tree
4. Use tree spell and chop all trees
5. Build bridges at the bottom and up to the top spell
6. Keep collecting mana
7. Use tree spell again and chop down trees
8. Use fearless spell 
9. Build the last 2 bridges
10. Collect gold
11. Use fearless spell and collect mana as necessary to keep it going

Level 33

1. Cut down 2 trees
2. Collect food
3. Click on all lots, 2 houses and foundry
4. Fight off bad guys
5. Chop down trees and collect gold to get enough to build towers and upgrade houses (preferably all at once)
6. Collect gold
7. upgrade towers
8. You will still need to fight off the bad guy at the bottom right

Level 34

1. Collect food
2. Clear wood blockage to the bottom
3. Build the house
4. Collect 100 gold to upgrade the house and remove stone block 
5. Remove the wood block to the top gold
6. Remove stone blockage
7. Cut down 4 trees to collect 100 wood for 100 mana
8. Upgrade house
9. Use spell to remove last wood block
10. Collect 100 gold to receive 300 mana
11. Keep using spell to remove the stones to free last worker

Level 35

1. Chop 4 trees
2. Click on both houses to build
3. Collect gold and the rest of the trees
4. Click on all the towers to build them
5. Collect mana and use the tree spell
6. Chop down all trees
7. Upgrade the houses
8. You don't need to upgrade the towers as long as you are careful with the bad guys
9. Send 3 workers to light house
10. Collect mana, use tree spell, and cut down the trees until you have enough for building

Level 36

1. Collect mana and chop one tree
2. Use free spell
3. Chop down another tree and collect mana bottles
4. Build house
5. When you have 80 mana for next spell
6. Collect all the trees and gold
7. Upgrade the house twice
8. Keep collecting mana fro freeze spell and then collect gold

Level 37

1. Collect food
2. Clear wood blockage to the left
3. Collect food
4. Clear the wood blockage to the right
5. Collect food
6. Clear wood blockage to 3 gold piles and worker
7. Collect 3 piles of gold
8. Clear stone pile to next worker
9. You won't be removing the big stone
10. Start collecting mana from the well
11. Collect food to remove wood block at the bottom to free up another worker and access the next well
12. Collect 2 piles of gold
13. Click on the next stone block to get next worker
14. Use the speed up spell twice
15. Remove the next stone pile to free last worker
16. Collect gold
17. Remove last stone pile to access tree spell
18. Chop down all the trees
19. Use the tree spell twice
20. Collect gold

Level 38

1. Chop down 4 trees
2. Build house
3. Collect mana while waiting for bad guys to walk away
4. Collect wood and gold
5. Use tree spell
6. Upgrade house
7. As bad guys comes back to trees, send 3 workers to the lighthouse
8. You can use the bell to call the workers away to get gold and trees
9. Reassign workers as the bad guys walk away

Level 39

1. Collect food
2. Clear wood blockage to top
3. Build house
4. Clear blockage to the left
5. Collect 2 piles of wood
6. Upgrade house
7. Collect mana
8. Clear blockages to well
9. Collect gold while using acceleration spell

Level 40

1. Collect 20 mana
2. Chop down the 4 trees
3. Use spell
4. Clear the blockage to castle
5. Build the bridge at the bottom
6. Build the house
7. Fight off the bad guy
8. Keep collecting mana and gold
9. Use the spell
10. Chop the rest of the trees
11. Upgrade the house
12. After collecting about 300 gold
13. Use the spell again
14. Build the bridge and assign 5 workers
15. Keep using the spell and collecting gold
