Maybe someone has already posted about this. I didn't know this, but you don't have to proceed to the next level whenever you're finished with one level.

You can keep playing at the early easy levels, build up some extra lives, and then go on from there. When you're finished with Level 1, just play it again. Instead of clicking on Level 2, click on Level 1. The game lets you keep all the lives you've earned.
